Karen’s also a lawyer by trade who recently took a life leap of her own – relocating her family (18-month toddler in tow!) from their Washington, DC home to Southern Spain to pursue a lifelong dream of living abroad. Karen had to leave her law job for the move, and – after over a decade of practicing law in DC, most recently in the area of anti-corruption and whistleblower protection – she is, for the first time in her adult professional life, now really meaningfully evaluating what’s next.
